The Golfing week gets underway again with a trip to the fantastic Royal Lakeside.
This Golf Course never disappoints and it was in immaculate condition yet again.
We played the white tees as usual at 6250 yards in a strong wind which kept us cool.
We had 4 groups competing today with only 2 players beating their handicaps.
Today’s winner had a great day out winning by 2 shots also winning a near pin
Congratulations to Dave Stevens with 39pts shooting 76 gross off his 7 handicap to win for the first time with us.
2nd place was myself with 37pts shooting 78 gross off my 7 handicap and also getting a slam dunk birdie which was nice.
The fine form continues but so does the practice at Waterside.
3rd place went to my playing partner Dan Chantapo with 36pts. It could have been 40 plus points on another day with some great drives but his wedges letting him down. Good battle again today mate.
