We took 22 golfers to take on A&C 9s which I think is the best 18 to play
The course was in unbelievable condition and the greens we just so quick and true you only had to pick the right line and they would drop.
As always we played the white tees at 6400 yards and it was a real test of golf especially the back 9 on C where you need distance and accuracy.
The competition was so close today with only 1 player beating their handicap and 3 others scoring 36pts.
Congratulations to Rob Hopson winning for the first time with us scoring a fantastic 38pts to win by 2 shots. Rob has been a big supporter of us from the start and it was great to see him get his well deserved victory on such a great golf course.
2nd place went to Phil Starrett with 36pts winning a 3 way countback with 20pts on the more difficult back 9.
3rd place was myself with 36pts shooting another round in the 70s. It should have been a so much more but a 4 put on the 9th cost me dearly but the form continues.
The last spot went to Noon Suchy also with 36pts but 15pts on the back 9 meant a 4th place finish. Well played Noon the practice is paying off.
