The Olde Rogues had an excellent turnout of 5 groups to take on nines A & B at Greenwood. Despite the very healthy numbers, it was A & B nines who were the real winners on a day when only 2 players managed scores in the 30`s.
It was another strange day regarding the weather with heavy clouds and rumbling thunder combined with the odd distant flash of lightning. The heavy clouds disappeared and the thunder stopped and out 5 groups continued in bright sunshine.
It was a day of extremely low scores with 2 x 33`s being the best by a long way. It was John Coetzee who headed off George Mueller on a countback to head the field. John has just returned from Australia as once again, George misses out on a countback.
RESULTS:
1st Place John Coetzee (22) – 33 c/b
2nd Place George Mueller (19) – 33
3rd Place Craig Robson (14) – 29
4th Place Peter Marsh (18) – 28 c/b
