On Friday we played the June Golfer of the Year competition at Burapha Golf Club. The event was very kindly sponsored by Scottie Smith and Pumpui Restaurant.
We had five groups playing and found the course in excellent condition. We were able to tee off ahead of our scheduled time and encountered no delays whatsoever during the round.
Scoring was hot on the day, with Shaun Pullen coming out on top with an excellent 43 points playing off a 10 handicap. Martin Evans and Tony Glazebrook both recorded 40 points to finish second and third respectively.
There was only one 2 recorded on the day, which came from May on the 3rd hole of the A course.
Next month’s Golfer of the Year competition will take place at Pattaya Country Club on Friday, July 17th.
