Paul Davies’ come back at Pattavia
On Tuesday we went to Mountain Shadow. Unfortunately, we had only 1 flight, but a good day of golf. We were very curious about the state of the course, because last time we played we didn’t see green grass. But the rain does wonders and the course was green again and in good condition.
We decided for the competition to play for just the winner. However, it was still an exciting battle between the four players. At the end was Sam Jeffery the most consistent and won with 32 stable ford points
On Thursday we visited Pattavia. We welcomed Hidde Bijl again as guest player after 1 year.
When we came together for the coffee was the rain pouring down. But we also know that the rain is always local. We left MyBar in the rain and arrived at Pattavia without rain. The course was in good condition with slow and difficult greens. We played an interesting round. Paul Davies was on track after a long period of non-playing. He surprised everybody with a steady round. He won with 39 stable ford points. Runner up was Mark Bromwich with 39 points.
The spoon was today for John Pegrum.
The near pins were for Hidde Bijl.
