We took 8 groups to Pattaya Country Club for a pairs event which saw us take full advantage of the QR Code system which enabled all our players to pay 1500 baht all in. The course was in very good condition with no grace given on the very fast greens with some devilish pin positions.
With the imaginary par being 72 points, only one group managed to surpass that. Tony Cliff and Allan Smith gelled very well together to come home with 74 points. Tony and Allan were 6 clear of runners-up Jim Miller and Neil Barker with Jim and Neil`s partners, Paul Tidy and Dave Boyes a further 2 points behind. Nigel Henson and Tony Browne along with Mike Ehlert and John Pierrel completed the podium.
The best points on a single hole went to Shaun Merryman and Mark Bishop who totalled 16 points on the 8th hole. Unfortunately for Shaun and Mark their 16 points on the 8th hole equated to one-third of their total points!

4th Place Nigel Henson / Tony Browne – 63 points
