We took 8 groups to Hermes for the final match of the week. There have been some huge differences both on and off the course from the previous days of Parichat. Although it has been under the guise of Hermes for approximately 2 years, it is a shame that there are no practice facilities. We have been told that this will be rectified and that the new professional shop / club house is near completion.
Any score of around 36 points at Hermes is going to be very close to a winning score and so it proved to be today with Garry Lyon and John Browning both coming home with 37 points. It was Garry who led the way on the countback courtesy of a better last 6 holes.
On the 2nd of March we will be holding a Memorial Day for Phil Davies at Bang Pakong. The `sign up` has been posted on the Line Group. Phil was a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene and is sadly missed.
