The mid week trek was to the picturesque Mountain Shadow Golf Course approximately half up the highway to Bangkok .An 18 hole course designed by Richard Fream in the 90’s out of a mango farm .
Mountain Shadow is on of the least expensive games of golf in Pattaya and is one of the better laid out courses that is very challenging to score well as the scores indicated today.
Today’s greenjacket winner by a single stroke was Vito Cirrili with 33 points holding on by the solitary point from a countback with Steve Elles winning the countback from Steve Moxey on 32 points. Fourth was Vic Hansen a lonely point behind with 31 points and Dave Arataki finishing fifth another stroke behind on 30 points .
The near pins on the 5 th hole was won by Vito Cirrili
The 17th hole was was won by Brian McNamara
The closest in 3 at the par 5 was the returning Dave Hayes
