The Links Golf Society-Torrential rain doesn’t deter Selwyn from the greenjacket.

The Navy course turned into a river after a hour long rain storm halted the players from links today . The heavy rain created water logged fairways and bunkers with plugged balls throughout the course causing havoc amongst the players .The 22 players who trudged there way around the course today should be proud of there efforts.
Today’s green jacket winner was the ever consistent Selwyn Yates who came in with a tremendous 36 points in deplorable conditions. Second was a newbie to links in Jim Vonder with 35 followed closely by Lode a recent arrival from Europe with 34 points and Garry Outram with 33 finished fourth
