The Links Golf Society Report Selwyn dominates field at Greenwood Golf Course

The start of the week sees the links crew travel an hour up the highway to the always underestimated Greenwood Golf Club.

The green were again challenging especially if above the hole. The key to scoring well at Greenwood is to have the putter running hot.

Today’s greenjacket winner was the consistent Selwyn Yates with a dominating 40 points . Second was the bridesmaid Steve Elles with 38 .Bob Rice was third with 35. Tony Cliff finished fourth with 34 on a countback from Phil Corbin also on 34 .

The second hole near pin was not won so a lucky draw was used and the lucky person was Tommy Richards.
