Rain clouds looming, roadworks adding an extra hour, and a crew that simply refuses to quit — that’s the Links Golf Society for you. Nothing was stopping this mob from teeing it up yesterday… commitment levels: unquestionable.
Once we finally got underway, the scoring delivered:
1st: Torbin Lingard (28) – 36 pts
2nd: Jim Muccino (10) – 34 pts (off 10… take a bow)
3rd: Gorgeous George Muller (19) – 32 pts
4th: Vito Cirelli (14) – 31 pts
5th: Grant Pride (6) – 30 pts (either saving himself… or still blaming the roadworks)
The pot sits at a tidy ฿2,780… and once again survives the day. It’s building nicely for the next brave—or lucky—soul.
Hole 3 – Jim Muccino
Hole 5 – Ken Nakamura
Hole 17 – Daniel Kruhne (we’ll stick with that spelling!)
Somehow found its way to Christian Rikki… as these things tend to do.
Despite the weather threats and the travel saga, it turned into a cracking day—proof that a bit of rain and traffic only sharpens the competitive edge… or at least the thirst at the 19th hole.
Will the Eagles Nest finally get raided… or just keep growing?
