The start of the golfing week saw the links golf society crew journey 50 minutes up the highway to Treasure hills golf course for there Monday fix.
Designed by the popular Yoshikazu Kato in the tropical rainforest area of Chon Buri.
The course features sloping fairways and greens to great effect ,where a good drive can find the mugumbo very easily resulting in a penalty shot for a lost ball being ever present in your mind off the tee.
Treasure hills has many dogleg holes which make a positional tee shot very important .
Today’s greenjacket winner has able to tame the tricky treasure hills course with an impressive 37 points, and being the only player to break his handicap today .
Second was George Briggs with a respectable 34 and a countback was needed again to seperate Don Johnson and Steve Elles with both finishing on 33 points .
Three of the winners today also collected the all the near pins ,just to show how well they played today .
