Freddy destroys field in the rain
Links crew started the week off at the Navy course in very wet conditions today . Playing in the rain kept the scores down compared to previous games at the navy course.
The greens were in perfect order,probably the best they have been in for a very long time.
Today’s greenjacket winner Freddy Starback actually destroyed the field making a mockery of the wet fairways and greens finishing with 37 points easily defeating the second place getter in Mr consistent Selwyn Yates with 31 points
Torben finished third on a countback from Glen Hinshaw on 30 with Steve Moxey finishing on 29 for fifth place today .
The bucket of beers was won by Enesco Filipe with a terrific 6 iron close to a few feet on the shirt par 3
