Owner enjoys rare win
The links crew travelled up the highway to Treasure Hill Golf Club today for their mid week game .Treasure Hills presented its usual tricky greens and slightly wet fairways in patches ,otherwise the course played longer than its 6500 yard today ,bought on by the limited run available from the fairways .
plenty of long par 4 s presented all the trouble that you need to make it very difficult to score big with nobody equalling there handicap today.
Todays long overdue greenjacket winner was one of the owners Grant Pride who scrambled his clacker off to register 35 points .
The departing scottsman Ronnie Hume finished second on 33 and the ever reliable Selywyn Yates finished with 32.Fourth was Mark Ellis with 31.
