Co sponsored event sees exceptional scores
In what we hope is a regular event on the calendar, the TIT Cup guys met with the Links boys and had a Saturday game. With Links providing a healthy prize, the event was always going to be exciting. All bets were on the Thai contingent, and one silly fool insisted the PGA pro would get the goodies, however it was a first time (hopefully the last time) first time participant that toddled of with the cash.
Playing at Pattavia Century for the first time, the weather gods were kind, if not making it a little too hot. At least no rain. The course was in good condition, but the greens were fast and tough in the majority. Always good to be below the pin at Pattavia.
Many high scores today with the winner finishing with 44 points. Playing in front of this group, I was both shocked and admiring on the 15th to drive it into the lefthand green side bunker. Maybe next time you can let me chip on first mate. . Playing with the only Pro in event I was surrounded by long hitters. However poor old Yiannis found himself with the snakes on a couple of holes. The final results were:
1 Nick (11) 44 points
2 Josh Gagnuss (22) 37 points
3 Steven Gagnuss (23) 34 points
Special mention to Paiboon Kpgeprjgmvoeprtj who only 3 putted six times today.
