The French Canadian makes a habit of Winning at Royal Lakeside
The start of the week saw the group travel to the Japanese Somitomi construction designed Royal Lakeside to be welcomed by pristine conditions and a beautiful albeit hot day. Whilst some players shot rounds in the low to mid 20s the top 3 places finished with 30 plus points. The greens were fantastic and so there were very little excuses not to score well. Apologies to those that didn’t score well.
Today’s green jacket winner was Ben Hebert with 38 points who recently won at the same course and quipped he will play and win there again. Challenge accepted. Second place went to newcomer Saul with 35 points who was walking past and thought he’d have a quick game. Welcome Saul.
