Wednesday saw us take 7 groups to Crystal Bay which is excellent value at 1250 baht all-in. Crystal Bay might not be everyone`s cup of tea but there is no denying that it has some great holes with natural hazards. The greens were in good condition and all said and done, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
No one enjoyed it more than Stu Elsey who came home with 41 points. For a 27 handicapper, Stu hits a long ball and is very consistent. Other scores in the 40`s were Mai and Billy Buchanan who both shot 40 with Mai getting the runners-up slot courtesy of a better last 6 holes.
On the 2nd of March we will be holding a Memorial Day for Phil Davies at Bang Pakong. The `sign up` has been posted on the Line Group. Phil was a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene and is sadly missed.
