It was another highly successful Olde Rogues 2-man scramble at Pattavia although maybe `2 man` is the incorrect terminology as 3 ladies played terrific golf and helped to make the day such a success.

Because of the heavy rain on the previous day, it was an apprehensive start to the day especially as there was light rainfall on our departure. We were greeted with overcast conditions at Pattavia but everyone stayed dry. All said and done, it was perfect golfing conditions. The course was in excellent condition and we were treated very well, as always, at Pattavia.

So many people to thank for making it such a success but a special mention must go to Niall and Kob Glover from Bunker Boys and Mark Lowe and Pearwa from Magic Bar. Kob Glover filled in as a very late replacement for one of our diehards who sustained a neck injury and could not play. Get well soon Russell. Russell Blatchford, our injured party, was supposed to partner Phil Penney but because of his injury we were forced to change some of the groups. Instead of Russell, Phil was partnered with Robert Cha and what a pairing they turned out to be with a gross 5 under par score to give them a net score of 60.75. Outstanding golf. Phil Mitchell and Joe Buda led our players off and were long time leaders with a 1 under par score of 71 to give them a net 64.50. Just behind Phil and Joe were Brian Parish and Mikael Andersson who returned a net 65.00

As mentioned, 3 ladies took part in the competition and some of their play was of the highest quality. It was a pleasure to have them in our company.

On Monday we head off to Treasure Hill who have dropped their price to 1250 baht and on Wednesday we head back to Greenwood.
