The last day of the month saw us take 5 groups to Pattavia which is certainly one of our favourite venues. We bid a warm welcome to 1 handicapper Chris Delamare and a husband and wife team from New Zealand, Mike and Martine Keir.
One of the reasons that Pattavia, and near neighbours Greenwood, are top of our list of favourite courses is that the courses are always in excellent condition, the staff are friendly and they are great value for money.
Paul Tidy had a great round and Plutaluang on Friday and continued his winning ways with another excellent score at Pattavia on a day where there was a lot of good returns. His 40 points, which equated to a gross round of 78, just edged out George Mueller. George`s partner, Mai, took 3rd place with 38 beating Nigel Henson on a better last 6 after both came home with 22 points. The final podium place went to Tony Browne who relied on a countback to beat Mike Keir after both returned 35 points.
