The course was in much better shape than last time we was there, heavy rain greeted us on arrival but this stopped by our tee time and we managed to have a dry round.
We played the white tees, some of which were pushed way back and with soft fairways the course played very long with scoring reflecting that.
The top 2 had to be separated by one of the tightest countbacks we have had, both players scoring 33 points, both with 16 on the back 9, both with 12 on the back 6, and the winner with 6 points on the back 3 as opposed to 2nd place with 5 points.
Today’s winner is the man in form, already with 3 wins on the bounce but now becoming the first ever player to win all 3 competitions in the same week.
He also took voluntarily cut knocking a further shot of his handicap after Wednesdays win.
If you are looking to improve your game drastically come down to the sports hub and book a package of lessons with Yainnis on the new simulator. Jordan is proof that hard work and practice bring results.
Congratulations again to Jordan Brown with 33pts winning on countback
2nd place went to John Mcgee also with 33pts missing out on a 2nd win since returning on a very tight countback.
3rd place went to Adam Barton with a solid 30pts and another podium finish.
1st – Jordan Brown – 33pts (12)
2nd – John Mcgee – 33pts (15)
3rd – Adam Barton – 30pts (14)
