For our final trip we travelled up to Royal Lakeside.
The course was in fantastic shape the only let down was the course was absolutely chocker and we had a delay getting away but this is Thailand in high season.
It was a great turnout taking 9 groups of fine golfers to take on this magnificent golf course off the white tees at 6250 yards.
There were 2 runaway leaders today that were separated on a count back but everyone was so happy for today’s winner getting his first victory with us.
Congratulations to Dan Chanthapho with 40pts and a great back 9 of 22pts to clinch his first win. Dan plays 2-3 per week every week, never moans and always happy around the place so well deserved.
2 place went to the smiling assassin Chris Barker also with 40pts just missing out to Dan on a count back.
3rd place went to the very popular Greg Smith with 36pts and his fine form continues winning a 3 way count back.
4th went to the young man from Finland Nik Lindstrom with 36pts playing off +2 shooting 70 off the stick. Nik is only 20 and he has the potential to make it as pro if he keeps going the way he is.
5th went to Paul Gill with 36pts and we can’t keep him off the podium along with that man Barker! Another solid day mate
The last spot went to new comer Steve Hoyle with 35pts beating Sully on a count back.
