The golfing week got underway at everyone’s favourite golf course
Royal Lakeside!
We had 34 players competing again as well as the other groups up in Bangkok.
Lots of new faces again so thanks for choosing us to play your golf with and glad you enjoyed the experience.
The course was in fantastic shape as always, we played the white tees at 6300 yards in strong winds so it would be a good test for the players.
There were some great scores in today but it was Gene McNulty that edged victory on a countback with 40pts. Great to see you back and in good form.
2nd place was the inform American Frank Sullivan also with 40pts. Franks is one of the star players in the Ryder Cup next week and playing great golf.
3rd place went to Richie McGhie with 39pts shooting 1 under par off his handicap of 2. Fantastic round Richie
4th place was Colm Lawlor with 36pts getting off to a bad start but digging deep to get in the prizes on his last round with us

5th place was Shaun Woodcock with 35pts securing yet another podium place off his very suspect handicap lol
The last place went to my good friend Tim Shaw who only arrived late on Sunday but straight into his stride with 34pts.
