The Wednesday competition took us down to Rayong to play Silky Oak. On the journey there it looked like it could be a wet day but luckily it stayed dry.
It was our first visit for a while and the course was in decent shape but the greens a bit slow.
We had 4 new comers today which was nice to see glad you enjoyed it and a few made it into the prizes.
As always it was the white tees at 6340 yards and I’m soft conditions it was playing pretty long and that was reflected in the scoring with just 1 playing breaking par.
Today’s winner absolutely ran away with it by 5 shots. Congratulations to our first Malaysian winner Misuari Rahman with 37pts shooting 77 off his 6 handicap. Fantastic golf on a tricky course.
2nd place was myself with 32pts and another consistent day even with a few niggling injuries.
3rd place was new comer Grant Cooke also with 32pts just missing out on a countback. Solid debut with hire clubs
