On Thursday we took 4 groups to play the fabulous Siam Plantation.
Unfortunately after 12 holes the heavens opened and after over an hour wait we decided to call it a day as the course was unplayable.
Disappointing for everyone but we still did a front 9 competition and 2 near pins.
Still in fine form Emm Maume won a 3 way countback all with 20pts to win the day.
2nd was Erik Lundman & 3rd was Bill Meader.
Near pins
Emm Maume & Phil Day
We finished the week off with a trip to one of my favourite courses Khao Kheow.
The course was in great shape and we played A&B off the yellow tees at 6300 yards.
Today’s winner is always consistent and on a low scoring day where nobody broke par it was Tony Danford that sealed victory with a solid 34pts winning by 2 shots.
2 place was myself with 32pts, starting birdie birdie I thought this could be the day to go under par but the wheels soon came off and it was another average round.
We had 4 players tied on 31pts but it was Emm again that won the countback.
1st – Tony Danford – 34pts (11)
2nd – Phil Ashton – 32pts (6)
3rd – Emm Maume – 31pts (23) CB
