Pattaya Sports Hub Golf Society and Tenzing Pacific Services Golf Day.

We finished the month with the 7th Tenzing Day of 2025 played at Burapha Golf Club.
There was a fantastic turn out of 41 players all trying to win a spot in the race to Phuket as well as some great cash prizes.
We played C&D 9s off the white tees at 6100 yards. There was lots of run on the fairways and very receptive greens so I was expecting some good scores in.
Thanks as always to Craig and the Tenzing Team for the continued sponsorship which we have had for almost 2 years now.
The competition couldn’t have been any tighter with only 2 shots separating the top 6 places.
Today’s winner was Mikey Hamilton with an impressive 40pts scoring 22pts on the back 9 to win his second Tenzing day of the year meaning 2nd place would go into the knockout phase. Mikey also won a near pin and in the 2s pot so a great day for him.
2nd place was Mike Omiya also with 40pts just missing out on a countback with 19pts on his back 9 but still claiming his spot in the knockout phase in December.
3rd place was the most inform golfer in Pattaya right now Chris Barker with 39pts winning a 3 way countback with 19pts but a better back 6 than Donal.
4th place was my playing partner Donal Coffey with 39pts and was unlucky not to win today with a coupe of bad breaks but a really great round.
5th place was Cliff Almond with 39pts who has also been in great form recently finishing in the prizes also on Wednesday at Pattaya CC.
The last spot was myself with 38pts but 21pts on the back 9 to win a 4 way countback. The fact I never hit a green in regulation shows miracles can happen.
