Today we had our monthly trip to the Siam courses and this time it was Rolling Hills.
What a fantastic day it was the course was in awesome condition and the greens were a friendly pace on the huge undulating surfaces.
I think Rolling Hills has now become my favourite it’s so picturesque and every hole is so different and challenging.
We played the yellow tees today for a change at just under 6000 yards in beautiful weather conditions.
We had a great battle in the prizes again and today’s winner finally got his first win with us!
Congratulations to John Molloy with 40pts winning on a count back with 22nd on his back 9.
John leaves us at the end of the week and you won’t find a nicer guy. You will be missed by us all mate.
2nd place was myself with 40pts with 4 birdies and a great front 9 shooting level par. Finally down to a 7 handicap hoping to be 6 very soon.
3rd place went to another new comer Paul Hibberd with 35pts beating Stan on a count back. Great debut Paul nice to see you in the prizes.
The last spot went to the very likeable Stan Fenton with 35pts. Stan also leaves on Friday but had such a good time he’s back in January. Safe trip mate it’s been a pleasure having you around.
