First game of the week saw us take 4 groups up to Bang Pakong. Although Bang Pakong have stopped issuing vouchers, it is still only an all-in price of 1700 baht with your PSC card which is great value.
As has been mentioned previously, Bang Pakong regularly posts some high scores and today was no different. We were also privileged to have 2 players who scored 5 points on 1 hole. The first was Rich Moore who holed an 8 iron for his second shot on the par 4 8th hole – which is rated hole index 1. The second was David Booth who holed out on the 6th hole for a birdie where David was getting 2 shots. Unfortunately for David, his 5 points on the 6th, equalled his total points for the previous 5 holes! Rich on the other hand, took full advantage of his good fortune with his 5 points being the highlight of his round which saw him head the way with a total of 42 points. Tony Browne came back onto form with 40 points to take the runners-up spot with Brendan Kane edging out Emme on a countback after both came home with 38 points.
