Our first game of the new month saw us take 16 players to Pattavia. It was good to welcome back Paul Tidy and Dave Boyes after their short trip back to the UK. It was also very good to welcome Wayne Langford to our group. Although it was a holiday, Pattavia imposed only a small increase to their price. It was a very hot day with little to no wind to cool down our 16 players. The course was in very good condition although the greens were a lot slower than what we normally expect.
As for the golf, John Coetzee led the way with 36 points which narrowly beat Phil Mitchell into the runners-up position. John`s 21 points on the back 9 was 3 better than Phil for John to take first position on a countback. Third place went to Mai on 35 with Brendan Kane and Dave Boyes completing the podium places.
