ITS ALL TO PLAY FOR IN THE OLDE ROGUES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP WITH FRANCE AND AUSTRALIA LEADING THE WAY AFTER 3 ROUNDS
For the 3rd round of the Olde Rogues Club Championship we travelled to Crystal Bay with 34 players 26 of whom were in the Championship. Rob Davis was the halfway leader with 74 points with John Coetzee, (71), and Michel DeLeTraz, (70), his closest rivals.
Fun and games getting to and from Crystal Bay because of repairs to the road which resulted in the 2nd bus driving through a field to get to the course.
There was no fun and games from Jean Louis Goergen who led the field with his 39 points. Runner up in the B flight was George Mueller with 37. Jean Louis and George were the only ones of the field to break par. Two par scores of 36 headed A Flight with the split coming at 16. Ian Duers and Vic Hansen headed the flight with Ian edging out Vic courtesy of a better back 9.
