PSC RYDER CUP
PLUTALUANG
On Tuesday we played the South and East loops at Plutaluang, with an excellent turnout of 18 players. We were delighted to welcome Madelin Brennan, joining our group for the very first time.
It was another beautiful day—plenty of sunshine with a refreshing breeze—and the course was in good condition, though as always, it proved a real challenge. Despite its difficulty, three players managed to beat their handicap, making for an exciting contest.
- Allan Cassin showed great courage by playing from the white tees.
- Neil Harvey and Peter Chai Tsai competed from the yellows.
Peter, forgetting that his UK handicap is lower than his PSC handicap, was fortunate that this worked in his favor. With 37 Stableford points, he claimed victory on countback over Allan and Neil. Allan secured the runner‑up spot, edging Neil into third place.
Meanwhile, Willem Lasonder is still searching for his form and, once again, received the spoon.
Near pins: Maurice Paradis (2), Alan Edward Eden, and Allan Cassin.
RYDER CUP
On Thursday, our group had no scheduled competition, but many of our members proudly took part in the PSC Ryder Cup event.
