Mountain Shadow was our venue for the first game of the week on what was another very hot day. It was good to welcome back Maurie Denton and John Coey who flew in from Brisbane on Saturday.
It was a low scoring day with none of the 6 groups breaking par. Indeed, only Mike Ehlert and George Mueller managed to equal par with Mike just edging George on a count back. Tony Browne came back into form and trailed the leaders by one point to take 3rd place. It was a good day all round for the Mueller clan with Mai taking 4th place. Stu Elsey and George Wilson completed the podium.
On the 2nd of March we will be holding a Memorial Day for Phil Davies at Bang Pakong. The `sign up` has been posted on the Line Group. Phil was a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene and is sadly missed.
