On Friday 15th we visited Bangpakong, where we had 4 groups playing in ideal golfing conditions.
The course was in great shape, with the greens being particularly impressive.
Scoring was good on the day, with 35 points filling the top three places. Our winner was the oldest player in the field — 86-year-old Bob Pearce — who claimed victory with the best 35 points countback, thanks to an excellent back nine of 18 points!
Shaun Pullen recorded the only “2” of the day and, with a carryover pot from Khao Kheow, enjoyed a very nice payday! 
Back at Magic Bar, everyone enjoyed a lovely meal courtesy of Chef Nok.
We also made a special presentation to one of the three-balls who played together at Bangpakong — Bob Pearce, Barry Lewis, and Bobby Young — who between them totaled an incredible 244 years of age. That must surely be something very unique in golf society circles!
