Colin’s captaincy came to an end at Khao Khoew on Tuesday 30th December.
We had a very good turnout of 6 groups for our final outing of 2025.
We played off the yellow tees which proved to be a challenge as they were placed well back on the majority of holes.
The course was in excellent condition with very fast greens and also some very tricky pin positions
Two players recorded 35 points which was the best score of the day, and it was great to see our Captain Colin coming out on top on his final day as group leader.
Colin pipped Dean Lane on a count back by just a single point.
There was only one winner of the twos prize, and that went to Todd Young who birdied the very tricky B8 hole.
Colin gave a special prize ( a drinks shot) to Troy and Gerry as they recorded the joint worst scores of the day. 
There was a great atmosphere back at the bar after golf, and the evening was capped of with Colin taking the spoils
I want to wish incoming captain Lou Porter the very best for 2026.
She begins her captaincy at Green Valley on Friday the 2nd
