On Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th, 47 golfers from Magic golf society enjoyed 2 fabulous days as we visited Kabinburi.
The event was very kindly sponsored by DUNCAN MACLEAN
On the Monday we played a two person scramble competition on the wonderful Kabin Buri Sport Club Golf course, the longest golf course in Thailand!
The course was in magnificent condition with wonderful greens, and lush fairways.
We played a rainbow scramble from Red, Yellow, and white tees.
Unfortunately Jeff Edward’s was ill and not able to travel, so we had one group of 3 players with a reduced handicap playing together.
And they proved successful on the day as they won the scramble by point seven of a shot!
On Tuesday we played two ball better ball, combined with a singles competition.
The men played from yellow tees, whilst the ladies played from red tees.
We drew for partners and this proved to be very successful as many golfers were paired with each other for the first time.
Keith Cox and Johno were the run away winners with 52 points
Keith also picked up first prize in the singles competition.
On both Monday and Tuesday night we were so so well taken care of at the Serenity Hotel by our wonderful host Oliver Daniel.
Oliver went way beyond the call of duty as he wined and dined all of us with an incredible buffet, and free flow beer on both nights.
We have been to the Serenity before, but this trip was the best to date.
On the Tuesday night we held all the presentations at the Serenity, followed by an awards ceremony to celebrate the good, the bad, and the funny, events which occurred during the 2025 Magic golfing year. 
Captain Lou did a fantastic job introducing the winners in all categories.
I must say a BIG, BIG, thank you to all the winners who donated their winnings to Noodles Charity.
The charity benefited to the tune of 16,500 baht thanks to your generosity 
As you are aware Dean has introduced an incentive for members to play as often as possible each month,
anyone who attends 7 events in a month is entered into a draw for a 3,000 baht Magic bar voucher.
We held the draw for January and the lucky winner was Tony Oakes!
