MAGIC BAR GOLF REPORT 🏌On Friday 19th.

On Friday 19th we had our away outing to Kabin Buri, and on Saturday 20th we had a competition at Greenwood on our return from the trip to Kabin Buri

KABIN BURI
We had a two ball better ball competition on Friday
The course was in excellent condition, and it proved to be a good test at over 6500 yards off the white tees
However the length didn’t seem to bother Woodie or Jim Glossop who came out on top with 42 points just popping Gareth Gill, and Sugar Robertson for first place by a single point.

After golf back at the Serenity Hotel our host and society member Oliver Daniel laid on a magnificent international Buffet with free flow beer 🍺for all golfers and their partners
A great night was had by all, particularly as the free flow beer stared to kick in 😂

During the evening
Bob Newell announced his retirement ( again) from golf 🏌we wish you well Robert now that you have hung up the clubs 😊

GREENWOOD
On Saturday 19th we played a singles competition at Greenwood B and C courses
As always the golf course was up to its usual high standard, and at 1350 baht ( all in) it is certainly fantastic value

We had 6 groups playing, we started play in glorious sunshine, however after about 90 minutes play the rain arrived and it was torrential.
We did manage to get in 9 holes, so we held our competition over the B nine course
Our winner on the day with 18 points was Craig Wheeler
