we had a great turnout for our March ST Patrick’s day scramble, which as always was supporting Noodles Charity.
We played at Emerald and the course was in reasonable condition, with the greens despite looking fast, were in fact pretty slow.
We had a shotgun start, and the whole event ran very smoothly.
The highlight of the day was Raivo Velsberg recording a Hole in one at the par 3 fifteenth hole.
A big congratulations Raivo on your achievement.
That is now the third Hole in one recorded by a member of our society in the past 5 months !
We played a two person rainbow scramble and the scoring was very good, but nobody could match the winners on the day of Rick Batt, and Dave Reeves who recorded a net 63.6
After the golf we all returned to Magic bar where as well as celebrating St Patrick’s day, we also hosted Woodies birthday party
Bo and her staff put on a wonderful buffet for all the golfers. 🏌️
There was quiet a lot of Guinness flowing as we celebrated St Patrick, and St Woodie 😆
