Bob Edwards on fire at Plutaluang
On Tuesday we went to Pleasant Valley, where we played from the blues. That is an interesting challenge. Many of us had a heavy day. It was good to see Mick Bryant coming back.
The course was in good condition with green fairways and reasonable greens. The weather was sunny with a good breeze. Optimal circumstances for a nice day out.
Marice Paradis was in good form and played consisted. Although Allan Cassin did his best to follow Maurice had to be content as runner up with 25 stable ford points. Maurice won with 37 points.
The near pins were for Tony Chetland, Nil Harvey, Robert Charbonneau and Mark Bromwich.
On Thursday was our venue again Plutaluang where we the North & West played. Again, a sunny day with a nice breeze. The course was in good condition with fair greens.
We welcomed today Glen Addison in our group.
Bob Edwards created a challenge for himself, because nobody could follow him. H played a very consistent round and won with 42 stable ford points. Alan Eden followed on modest distance and became second with 37 points.
The near pins were for Allan Cassin, Alan-dward Eden and Neil Harvey
