On Tuesday we went to Treasure Hill. There was a good turnout with 3 groups. It was a nice day to play. The weather was cloudy and not too hot. The course was in reasonable condition but wet on many spots. It was hard day to make a good score.
It was not easy to pass the 30 stable ford points. But we had a few players who did it. Paul Davies was the most consistent today and won with 34 stable ford points. Runner up was Steve Sturley with 33 points.
The near pins were for Sam Jeffery, Jonathan Pratt and Peter Pihl.
The spoon was for Stephen Ford.
On Thursday was our venue, Crystal Bay. The course was in good condition and weather again cloudy and not too hot. A good day for playing golf.
Unfortunately, we had only 3 players. They enjoyed their round, but didn’t play the competition.
