Bob Edwards’ week
On Tuesday we went to Pleasant Valley and were really amazed by the condition of the course. Everywhere were we saw an oasis of green fairways despite all the dry and heat period we are living in. It became a really pleasant day.
Nevertheless, the course was in good condition, it is still not an easy course. The difference in the results showed it. It was an exciting battle between Bob Edwards and Booncheay. Both had 20 points on the front nine and the back nine must bring the decision. The experience and nerves of Bob were just a little bit stronger. Bob won with 37 stable ford points and Booncheay was runner up with 35 points.
The spoon was for Gordon de Wynter.
The near pins were for Bob Edwards, Booncheay (2X) and Steve Sturley.
On Thursday was our venue Plutaluang, where we the East and South loop played.
We were happy to see John Pegrum again after his knee replacement.
We had only 5 players today, but it would become a special day.
The course was in good condition and there was a nice breeze, so no too hot today.
The exciting moment of the day happened when we came to East 2, where Bob Edwards made a hole-in-one. Congratulations with this magnificent shot.
We had only one winner today, Patrick Troy with 39 points.
