Links Golf Society – Hermes GC Fun Report ⛳️

“Where the golf is heroic… and the scorecards are occasionally accurate.”
The sun was shining, the wind was misbehaving, and the fairways of Hermes Golf Course once again witnessed feats of brilliance, confusion, and mild athleticism from the Links Golf Society.
🥇 1st – Paul “The Numbers Man” Naderman (30) – 36 points
Paul came in hot, armed with 30 shots and the confidence of a man who knows the secret to good golf is simply: hit it where people aren’t looking. Not only did he top the leaderboard, he also snagged Nearest the Pin on Hole 6, proving that sometimes the golf gods do accept bribes.
🥈 2nd – Jim “The Mercurial Maestro” Muccino (7) – 34 points (CB)
Jim played the sort of round that commentators call “mercurial” and playing partners call “deeply annoying.” A silky 34 points off 7 handicap meant he lost on countback but won in style. The short game? Sensational. The language after missed putts? Unprintable.
🥉 3rd – Tom “Steady Eddy” Hislop (😎 – 34 points
Tom matched Jim shot-for-shot but lost the countback by the narrowest of margins. Reliable, consistent, and—according to witnesses—only mildly sarcastic toward the greenskeeper. A classy round from a classy golfer.
🏅 4th – Enesco (29) – 33 points
Another solid outing from the enigma that is Enesco. With 33 points, he threatened the podium but ultimately settled just behind the chaos above him. Rumor has it he’s now petitioning for a trophy titled “Most Mysterious Golfer.”

🏆 Paul Naderman
Paul stuck it close and celebrated in the traditional Links Golf Society manner: pretending it was no big deal while secretly hoping someone was filming.
