Plutaluang North and West from the white tees was the challenge for our 6 groups on Wednesday. Much to everyone`s surprise, Plutaluang was remarkably quiet and we were asked to tee off more or less as soon as we arrived. It was a warm welcome back to Garry Lyon, the downside to Garry`s return is that we now have 3 Jambos in our midst!
A score of 36 from the white tees over North and West is normally good enough to claim first place – not the case today with some excellent scores. It was Jim Miller who claimed top spot with 40 points which just edged out Max Hedayeti by 1 point. Dave Heyes found some good form with 37 with Paul Longstaff shooting 36. The final podium place went to the in-form Stu Kidd with 34.
Just as a quick reminder, our Club Championship commences at Pleasant Valley on Friday. The format is the same as last year with the best 3 rounds out of 4 determining the winner. Round 2 will be at Bang Pakong, round 3 at Pattavia with the final round at Greenwood.
