Apologies to Brian and Mikael for the headline as they did anything but scramble to a victory as they won quite convincingly with some splendid golf on a tricky golf course and difficult conditions with a stiff breeze making club selection difficult. The two 13 handicappers came in with a gross 1 under par score of 71 to give them a net score of 64.50. All told, they accumulated 6 birdies and their win was even more remarkable when you take into account the fact that they bogeyed the first 3 holes. Brian and Mikael finished over 3 strokes ahead of defending champions Robert Cha and Phil Penney. Tied in 3rd place were the pairings of Glen Elswoth and Emmet White along with Paul Durkan and Gary Kuhnel with Durks and Gary getting 3rd on a better last 3 holes in the countback.
Special thanks to Greenwood for their normal excellent service. Greenwood is definitely a bargain at 1350 with a PSC card.
Next Monday we head to Plutaluang to tackle North and West which will be followed to a trip on Wednesday to take on the challenging Treasure Hill.
