A small contingent of Links golfers headed up the highway to Silky Oak today, where threatening skies suggested a wet and miserable day. Fortunately, despite the gloomy forecast, not a single drop of rain fell, leaving the boys free to battle one of the valley’s most challenging layouts.

The famous Eagles Nest is now sitting at a juicy $5,620 for a near-pin by an A, B or C grader, but once again it survived another day!

Congratulations to Werner, who bombed his way to victory, while Graham continued spreading golfing sermons around the course.
Ron managed to keep enough clubs intact to claim third place, and David was left wondering what might have been after the countback decision.
Another enjoyable day for the Lynx crew, with good company, challenging golf, and weather that threatened much more than it delivered.
