The course was presented in excellent condition, and there were no complaints whatsoever from any of the players.
We were also very fortunate that the rain stayed away during our round, especially as it had been raining quite heavily before we teed off.
It was great to welcome back Jim Reid and Danny Evans, who both returned with impressive performances.
However, nobody could match the golf played by Vincent Smyth. The Irishman produced a superb round of 40 Stableford points to claim first place, finishing four points clear of Tony Glazebrook in second.
There was no winner in the 2s Club, so the prize fund will roll over to Green Valley on Friday when we play our Monthly Medal competition.
As always, Chef Nok and her staff looked after everyone with a delicious meal when we returned to Magic Bar after the golf.
