We were booked in for a 10.30am tee time, but we actually teed off at 10am. The course was quiet and we experienced no hold ups whatsoever.
We played from the white tees in ideal golfing conditions. It was not too hot, and there was a slight breeze which was very welcoming.
Scoring was very good on the day, and Gerry was fortunate to come out on top with 41 points. Nok Givens was runner up with 39 points.
One of our 4 balls had the distinction of all four players recording 21 points on the front nine. Unfortunately, they were not able to sustain that quality of scoring on the back nine.
We had no winner in the 2s Club, so the pot now carries over to Greenwood on Tuesday 26th.
On Saturday we have our Charity Scramble at Pleasant Valley Golf & Country Club.We still have room for more teams, so get your name in if you would like to play.
