Our Monthly Medal is very kindly sponsored by AUGUST RESTAURANT, and once again we would like to thank them for their continued support of Magic Golf Society.
We played the B & C courses from the yellow tees, measuring 6,354 yards.
The golf course was in superb condition, although the pins were placed in some very tricky positions. There was also a strong breeze blowing throughout the round, which made scoring rather difficult on the day.
The tough conditions were reflected in the scores, with no net rounds recorded in the 60s. I was lucky enough to record the lowest net score of the day with a Net 71 to take the Monthly Medal.
There were no winners in the 2s Club, so the pot now carries over to our next outing at Greenwood on Tuesday, August 25th.
The day’s special prize went to Acco, who managed to record a Net 93. 
I’m sure there are better days ahead, Acco!
As always, Chef Nok and her staff provided all the golfers with a lovely meal on our return to Magic Bar. A big thank you to Nok and the team for looking after us so well.
