The course was in very good condition, with the greens running extremely fast, providing a real test for everyone.
We played in ideal golfing conditions and the pace of play was excellent, with all groups completing their rounds in just under four hours.
Scoring proved difficult from the white tees, with the length of many holes making it a big challenge to reach the greens in regulation.
The star performer on the day was our scratch golfer Rocky Jones, who produced an excellent round of 76 gross, which gave him 32 Stableford points and was enough to take the overall victory.
Tony Oakes pushed him all the way, finishing just one point behind with 31 points.
There was no winner in the 2s Club, so the pot will now carry over to Khao Kheow on Tuesday, 18th August.
Our next outing is the Noodles Charity Scramble at Treasure Hill this Saturday, and we look forward to another great day of golf while supporting a very worthwhile cause.
