As always, our monthly scramble was very kindly sponsored by Todd Givens, and we sincerely thank him for his continued support.
Although we had fewer teams than usual, the quality of the field more than made up for the smaller numbers, with some very competitive golf played throughout the day.
The course was in excellent condition, and we enjoyed a smooth round with no delays whatsoever.
The men played from the yellow tees at 6,500 yards, while the ladies teed it up from the red tees.
Scoring was outstanding, with the “cricket team” of Simon, Janish, Dexter and Ing producing a superb gross 62 to take first place.
After golf, we returned to Magic Bar, where Chef Nok and the staff had prepared another delicious complimentary buffet for all the golfers. Following the meal, we held the prize presentation for the winning teams.
It was also fantastic to welcome Duncan back to the course after his recent health scare. It was great to see him out enjoying his golf again.
Our next Charity Scramble will be held at Treasure Hill Golf Club on Saturday, 15th August, and we hope to see another great turnout.
