The course was in fantastic condition and we were looked after extremely well by all the staff and caddies.
We had 17 players in the competition today playing the white tees at 6600 yards which was a great test of golf using every club in the bag.
Mondays competition was decided on a countback and it was the same again today.
It was myself winning today with 35pts shooting 79 gross and my form in the last month is probably my best ever. I’m down to 5.1 handicap now from 10 two months ago so all I can say is get practicing it really does do wonders.
2nd place was my good friend and playing partner the Geordie Silver Fox Mark Johnstone also with 35pts just missing out by 1 shot on the back 9 countback.
3rd place was the sexy scouser Adam Barton with 33pts putting in a fine display after his romantic trip away. Great scores from our group today taking all the podium places.
