We started July with a visit to Pleasant Valley on Thursday the 2nd for our popular 2-Person Scramble, very kindly sponsored by Duncan Maclean.
We had six groups taking part and managed to tee off 20 minutes ahead of our allotted tee time. Surprisingly for Pleasant Valley, we didn’t encounter any 5 or 6-balls, allowing everyone to complete their round in approximately three and a half hours.
The course was in really good condition, and we played from the white tees in excellent golfing conditions.
The winning score of the day came from Rob Cha and Phil Mitchell, who recorded an impressive gross 66. Finishing as runners-up were Jeff North and Martin Evans.
